AMRUT (Advanced Mission for Rural Urban Transformation) Foundation is a Section 8, not-for-profit organization, established on September 20, 2022, under the Companies Act, 2013, Government of India. The Amrut Foundation is committed to advancing sustainable, inclusive, and resilient development across India’s rural and urban communities.
Recognizing the interconnected challenges of poverty, inequity, environmental degradation, and inadequate access to basic services, AMRUT Foundation seeks to create holistic and transformative solutions through community-centered interventions, evidence-based approaches, and multi-stakeholder partnerships.
Amrut Foundation acts as a catalyst for rural–urban convergence, supporting integrated development initiatives across health, education, WASH, livelihoods, climate resilience, disaster preparedness, and cultural promotion. Our programs are designed to empower communities, strengthen local governance, and ensure sustainable impact.
